Nokia Lumia 2520 tablet leaked in Cyan Color

In a few weeks at Abu Dhabi at Nokia World, the company will announce its latest product strategy, the Lumia 2520 Tablet. Notorious Tipster @evleaks is back with some fresh images of the upcoming Lumia 2520 tablet in the expected cyan color. 

What is currently unknown is the list of specs of the device, however we did hear that it will carry a Snapdragon 800, an outdoor-ready 1080p screen and LTE, the tablet would last a healthy 10 hours on battery. It would also include both 6-megapixel rear and 2-megapixel front cameras, and Nokia may complement the previously mentioned 32GB of storage with a microSD card slot. The only real thing that needs to be found is what OS it will run between an option of Windows 8, RT and Windows Phone. Nokia : WP8 Amber Update Will Roll Out To All Devices By September End

Nokia has promised that its Lumia Amber update will reach all Windows Phone 8 devices by the end of September.

The Finnish phone maker is rolling out the update for its Lumia 920, Lumia 820, Lumia 720, Lumia 620 and Lumia 520 as well as their variants.

Amber introduces a number of new features to the Lumia range, including new photo-editing tools and improved camera capabilities. The Nokia Smart Camera app also introduces motion sequence shooting on its high-end Lumia 920, 925 and 928 handsets.

The Amber update also has “Glance Screen,” a tool that makes your phone’s inactive state more interesting. When your handset is inactive, it will display a clock and battery information. So, you can more quickly interact with your phone without having to do anything at all. You can turn off Glance, of course, or have it switch off after a set amount of time.

Unfortunately the negative news includes that some of the most desirable features are not coming to all handsets.

In the post Nokia confirms that the ‘double tap to wake’ feature is not supported on Lumia 720, Lumia 625, Lumia 620, Lumia 521, Lumia 520.

Also Nokia confirmed the FM Radio feature will not be coming to the Lumia 620, Lumia 810 and Lumia 928 as they “do not have the FM radio chip.”

Nokia recently launched its new Nokia Here Auto in-dash navigation system.

Windows Phone 'Nokia Bandit' Coming Soon

Nokia is said to be planning a big-screen Windows Phone for release later this year. As per The Verge, sources familiar with Nokia’s plans have revealed that the company is currently testing a 6-inch device with the latest version of Windows Phone. The device is Code named ‘Nokia Bandit’ and is said to include a 1080p display and a Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core processor. If this information is true this device will be the first one to get a 1080p display on a Windows based phone. The source further says that the Bandit will ship with a rear camera that is at least 20-megapixels, and with a slight hump at the rear of the device to accommodate the camera. Keeping the device thin and lightweight is said to be a priority and it will be built with a polycarbonate body. Microsoft is currently improving Windows Phone to support devices like the Bandit, with extra changes for 1080p displays, and an additional column of Live Tiles on the Start screen. The latest Windows Phone update includes rotation lock, a Driving Mode option, and some minor UI changes. If all of this information comes out to be true this device might be a good competitor to the other Phablets available. Pricing will be the most important part, specially in a market like India. iPhone's Camera Is Awful - Claims New Nokia Lumia 925 Advertisment

Camera war heats up with Nokia’s new advertisement for the Lumia 925′s camera, claiming it to be better than the iPhone’s camera. An Apple ad says – more people take pictures with an iPhone than with any other camera. This fine argument has been used by Apple more than once. In a new ad, Nokia picks it up and slaps Apple across. It says “Everyday more photos taken on an iPhone than any other phone, but at Nokia we prefer to build for quality, not just quantity.” The ad lures you into believing this might be that very Apple ad, or at least another in the series. Then the voice of Helsinki sinks its teeth into Apple’s hubris: “At Nokia, we prefer to build for quality, not quantity.” It’s an understandable strategy, one that has already been expressed in the new Lumia 1020 ad. Clearly, Nokia has embraced the concept of its phones being a wonderful camera with a keyboard attached. Why would anyone buy an iPhone 5 after this? Why wouldn’t everyone want an 8.7-megapixel camera, Carl Zeiss lens, and dual LED flash at their side all the time? While Nokia clearly intends to show off the imaging prowess of its Lumia devices, as imaging is the major differentiators in its flagship phones, the parody is in bad taste, and clearly reflects Nokia’s frustration at not being able to sell as many Lumia devices as it intends to.
