BlackBerry Q5 To Launch On July 16, Up For Pre-Order

BlackBerry showcased its touch and type smartphone BlackBerry Q5 in May 2013. This handset from BlackBerry is the second touch and type smartphone running on the new BlackBerry 10 operating system. BlackBerry is currently offering two BB10 operating system smartphones Z10 and Q10 in India. BlackBerry Recently Launched its Q10 in India for 44,990 which makes it their most expensive offering in India, but it seems that BlackBerry would want this to cost much lower than Q10 and we expect the price of this smartphone to be around Rs. 25,000. Similar to their Rrcently launched Q10, the Blackberry Q5 also sports a 3.1-inch touchscreen with a resolution of 720X720 pixels. The handset is powered by a dual-core 1.2GHz processor along with 2GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded by up to 32GB via microSD card. With a non-removable 2180mAh battery, Q5 packs a 5-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel secondary camera. BlackBerry has started taking pre-orders for the handset and will launch it on July 16, though at present BlackBerry’s website does not share any date or the price for BlackBerry Q5. The handset is expected to come in four colour options – Black, White, Red and Pink, as it was shown at the BlackBerry Live Conference.
